The community of Blighty is located between Finley and Deniliquin along the Riverina Highway.

The Blighty Recreation Reserve is the sporting hub of the area, with many sports being well catered for at the reserve.

Football, Tennis, Cricket and Netball teams are fearce competitors and are amoungst the districts finest sportsmen and women.

New Community Facility - The Committee in conjunction with Conargo Shire Council, Department of Transport & Regional Services, and NSW Department of Sport and Recreation have completed the extension to the Blighty Hall.
This project is supported by funding from the Australian Government under its Regional Partnerships Programme, NSW Sport and Recreation, the community and Conargo Shire Council.

The Blighty Recreation Hall Committee have been tireless in their efforts to maintain the high standard of facilities and have been successful in obtaining Government Grants from NSW Department of Sport and Recreation and Regional Partnerships to refurbish the existing hall and it's facilities.
